Nick Groffo and his father John Groffo caught 5 swordfish and successfully released 3 Sunday November 11th about 80 miles offshore heading towards Boomerang from Freeport. This was the first fishing trip on their brand new 2022 Everglades 395 with triple Yamahas purchased from Gulf Coast Marine.

Ivan Rodriguez caught this beautiful flounder wade fishing North side of Mansfield Tx. The Flounder was caught on a JRZ Lure (Modern Mullet) lure company out of McAllen Tx. Didn’t really know what I had on at the moment since we were targeting redfish and trout. The flounder hit very subtle and put on an amazing fight! The flounder turned out to be my personal best, coming in at 24.5 inches!

Kelly Groce landed this 150 lb. tarpon with Capt. Brian Barrera out of South Padre Island, TX. after an hour and half long fight.
