Ashton Flores (7 yrs old) with a Spanish mackerel caught at the Port A Jetties, March 30th. Ashton was throwing a Sunami SlimWave, rigged with Titanium wire. He was using a Shimano Trevala S rod with a Van Stall 50 spinning reel spooled with 30lb braid.

Captain John Little with a “once in a lifetime” trout he caught recently while wade fishing with his clients, who insisted that he fish with them. He caught this 10.5 lb trout using a custom Corky called Blue Northern and had the biggest battle, not reeling her in, but trying to net her, in only a foot of water. She measured 33″ and was quickly released after the photo. It is the biggest trout he has ever caught and released to this date.

Damien Jones — Landed this beautiful 28 in. 6.5 lb trout on a Waterloo rod using a Down South white ice. This fish was worth the grind. Late afternoon in Baffin Bay.

Quinlynn Baggett — landing one of several nice redfish in Nueces Bay, fishing with her husband Ryan Baggett. Both of Corpus Christi. Despite the challenges of a full moon the night before and exceptionally low tides, the afternoon bite was worth the wait.
