The definition of a "trophy trout" changes depending on who you are visiting with at the time. At the Saltwater Angler, we consider a
true trophy to be a 28" or longer Speckled Trout. Over the years we have received pictures of big trout from up and down the coast.
Though Baffin Bay deserves its reputation "home of the big girls", we feel our Trophy Trout page should also reflect some of the
other areas of the coast that occasionally give up a "big one". Therefore, from 2007 forward you will find pictures here of big trout
caught from Port O'Connor south to Port Isabel.
