>Pringle Lake Good for Wade Fishermen
>Mule Slew Area Great for Reds
>San Antonio Bay Slow With the Wind
Ranch House Shoreline has offered plenty of fair to good fishing for weekend anglers from the
POC area. West Matagorda Bay near Greens and Cottons continues to be hit or miss. Keller's Bay is fair for redfish up in the Pocket area. Pringle Lake is good for wade fishermen using live croaker when tides are high. The Lagoon near Shoalwater and located near the north shoreline of Espiritu Santo Bay has been fair to good on reds. Mule Slew area near POC is great for redfish. Lighthouse Cove has been fair for reds. Out in front of the Army Hole is a good bet for both trout and reds. Wade fishermen free lining croaker have been doing okay over the past two weeks in this area. Grass Island is a good choice for trout and red fish. Josephine's Reef in Espiritu Santo Bay is giving up small trout. The jetties can offer large reds & trout when free lining live croaker. Sharks can be located at the jetties as well. The wells in Matagorda Bay are good very early at daylight for anglers anchored up chunking live croakers. San Antonio Bay reefs have slowed way down due to high winds. |

>Morris Cummings Cut and Lydia Ann Channel Good for Reds
>San Jose Island Shoreline Good for Trout and Reds for Waders
>East Shore, East Flats and Shamrock Producing Good Trout and Reds
>San Antonio Bay Producing Mixed Boxes of Trout, Reds and Drum
Morris Cummings Cut has been producing great numbers of slot reds on the falling tides using live
piggies or finger mullet. It is the same in Lydia Ann Channel. Look for openings to back lakes and ambush the reds on a falling tide with piggies or finger mullet. There have been consistent reports of waders catching nice trout with a few scattered reds all along the San Jose Shoreline using piggies, croaker (when available) and assorted plastics. Reds have started to school along the East Shore and in East Flats. Look for big pushes of water. They will hit just about anything you throw at them. There has been some good catches of trout and reds coming from Shamrock using primarily piggies. The waders have been doing the best. San Antonio Bay has been producing good mixed catches of trout, reds, and black drum when the weather will permit you to get up there. Live or fresh dead bait has been the best bait. |

>Look for Winds to Continue
>King Ranch Shoreline is Consistent
>Land Cut Producing Trout, Reds, and Drum
Low pressure has been moving down through the center of the country so we can look for the winds
to remain high for awhile. The Laguna Madre is producing some good trout as well as redfish along the King Ranch Shoreline through Emmords Hole. The grass lines are your best bet for catching them. Along the drop-off along the ICW, look for trout and redfish. Nighthawk is producing well for redfish along the spoil islands. The Land Cut is still producing trout, redfish and a few drum along the west shoreline. |
